8 dead in UP due to snakebite, natural calamity since Sunday

Eight people have lost their lives due to snakebite and in incidents of natural calamity since Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh government said on Tuesday. According to a statement issued by the state government, two deaths occurred in Allahabad on Tuesday due to lightning.
Two persons died due to snakebite in Hardoi on July 21, it said. "On July 22, one person each in Ghazipur and Ambedkarnagar died due to snakebite. One person died due to lightning in Lalitpur, and another died due to wall collapse following heavy rain in Khiri," the statement said.
