Two Saudi pipeline booster stations targeted by drones: minister

Two Saudi pipeline booster stations targeted by drones, a Saudi minister has confirmed. The incident comes just a couple of days after four commercial vessels, including two Saudi oil tankers, were sabotaged near Fujairah, one of the seven emirates of the UAE and a bunkering hub just outside the Strait of Hormuz. UAE authorities did not say who was behind the attack.

Iran was a prime suspect in the sabotage on Sunday although there is no conclusive proof yet.

Saudi Arabia's energy minister had condemned the Sunday attack saying that it aimed to undermine the security of global crude supplies.
