President Ram Nath Kovind visits ANZAC War Memorial in Sydney after reaching Australia

India's President Ram Nath Kovind accompanied by First Lady Savita Kovind already arrived in Australia on a four-day official visit on Wednesday (November 21) morning. During the trip, he will address Indian diaspora alongside inaugurating a statue of Mahatma Gandhi to mark his 150th birth anniversary.
Recent reports released by ANI say that Ram Nath Kovind already visited ANZAC War Memorial in Hyde Park in Sydney. He and his spouse paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Constructed in 1934, this building is presently a memorial to the Australian Imperial Force in World War I.
Prior to his Australia visit, he was on a four-day trip to Vietnam where he and Vietnam's new President Nguyen Phu Trong witness signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoUs) including MOU in the field of communications and MOU between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
