Six militants gunned down at Sekipora of Anantnag dictrict, arms and ammunitions recovered

At least six terrorists have been gunned down by the Indian Army in Sekipora area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on wee hours on Friday (November 23). The Rastriya Rifles of Indian Army in association with Police are conducting the operation. One of the army officials said that exchange of fire commenced between the terrorists and security forces at an early hour in the Bijbhera area of the district. Arms and ammunitions have also been recovered from the dead militants. Operation is underway.
One Indian Army soldier lost his life during firing against the militants on Tuesday (November 20) while four terrorists were encountered at Nadigam village of J&K's Shopian district.
