Blinken, Ethiopian PM discuss accountability for atrocities

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed discussed the importance of accountability for atrocities perpetrated by all sides during the conflict in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region, Blinken's spokesperson said.

During their meeting in the Ethiopian capital, Blinken raised concerns about the situation in another region, Oromiya, which has experienced significant violence in recent times.
