Netanyahu hints he may review judicial overhaul without consulting opposition

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday he would seek to balance the branches of Israel's government with his judicial overhaul plan, suggesting this was a work in progress proceeding even in the absence of agreement with the political opposition.

"If we don't have a partner, we will try to come up with the best solution," he told reporters in English during a visit to Berlin. Switching to Hebrew in response to a follow-up question, he said: "I'll support a balance that will seem balanced to me." (Writing by Dan Williams Editing by Mark Potter)
