Instead of Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s leadership would’ve developed farmers’ conditions, says PM Narendra Modi

PM Narendra Modi during his rally in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur today (November 24) reminded Jawaharlal Nehru and Congress' inability to rectify the plight of Indian farmers since Independence.
Narendra Modi extolled Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's exclusivity in becoming the Prime Minister of India which, according to him, never happened due to the then political scenario. According to him, had Iron Man of India become India's first Prime Minister, then the farmers' conditions that highly dwindled in the last 55 to 60 years would have never happened. He claimed that if that political changes 'fortunately' took place, the Indian farmers would have been strong.
The farmers in this generation are still suffering due to the wrongdoings and poor policies of Congress, Modi said. He claimed that due to such activities of the previous ruling party, the present government is also getting bad names and reputation.
