New Zealand PM-elect Luxon says new govt could be sworn in on Monday

New Zealand's incoming Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said on Thursday he hoped the swearing-in ceremony of the new government will take place on Monday after his National Party reached a deal with ACT New Zealand and New Zealand First.

A formal signing agreement between the parties was expected on Friday and ministerial positions could be announced later that day, Luxon told reporters.
