White House's Sullivan met Qatari officials on Gaza hostages

U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan met on Tuesday with visiting officials from Qatar, the White House said, as the United States works on a possible deal involving the release of hostages in Gaza.

Qatar has played an intermediary role in trying to gain the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. White House national security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters on Air Force One that Sullivan would meet with families of the remaining American hostages.
