Swedish defence minister welcomes Hungary plan to vote on Sweden's NATO bid next week

Swedish Defence Minister Pal Jonson said on Tuesday he welcomed news that Hungary's parliament plans to vote on the Nordic country's NATO membership next week.
"We of course welcome this," he told a press conference.
Hungary's ruling Fidesz party has proposed that parliament should vote on the ratification of Sweden's bid to join NATO on Feb. 26, which the party will support, the leader of Fidesz' parliamentary group said on Tuesday.
