Malaysia PM announces civil servants salary bump of over 13% starting Dec

Malaysian civil servants will see a salary increase of over 13% beginning December this year, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Wednesday.

The salary increase will involve an allocation of 10 billion ringgit ($2.10 billion), Anwar said at a Labour Day event. ($1 = 4.7700 ringgit)
