UK defence minister to set out plan to support personnel after reported Chinese hack

British Defence Secretary Grant Shapps will set out a plan later on Tuesday to support and protect personnel following reports that China had hacked into a British military database, the Ministry of Defence said.

"The Defence Secretary will make a planned statement to the House of Commons this afternoon setting out the multi-point plan to support and protect personnel," a spokesperson for the ministry said.
