Over 43 percent of Bihar's 1.62 crore voters exercised their franchise in the eight Lok Sabha seats by 3 pm on Saturday, according to officials.
Voting commenced at 7 am in constituencies like Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah, Karakat, Jehanabad, Buxar, Nalanda, and Jehanabad, continuing until 6 pm.
Patliputra led with a turnout of 49.89 percent, followed by Buxar at 45.90 percent and Karakat at 45.06 percent. At 3 pm, the overall voting percentage stood at 42.95 percent.
