Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Secures Resounding Victory in Assembly Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Sikkim Krantikari Morcha chief Prem Singh Tamang for his party's landslide victory in the assembly elections. The SKM won 31 out of 32 seats, with the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front winning only one. Modi expressed eagerness to work with the state government for Sikkim's development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Sikkim Krantikari Morcha chief Prem Singh Tamang following the party's overwhelming victory in the assembly elections on Sunday. The SKM triumphed by securing 31 of the 32 seats, leaving the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front with just one seat, according to the Election Commission.

Modi expressed gratitude towards the voters and acknowledged the efforts of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) workers in Sikkim. ''I thank all those who voted for @BJP4Sikkim in the Assembly Elections. I also appreciate the efforts put in by our Karyakartas,'' he posted on X.

Looking ahead, Modi emphasized his intent to collaborate with the SKM-led state government to advance Sikkim's progress and meet the aspirations of its people. ''Our Party will always be at the forefront of working towards Sikkim's development and fulfilling people's aspirations,'' he remarked.
