The Himachal Pradesh assembly bypolls have set the stage for high drama with close contests unfolding in all six constituencies. Three of the six Congress rebels, now contesting under the BJP banner, are currently leading.

According to Election Commission trends, BJP's Sudhir Sharma is marginally ahead in Dharamshala by 297 votes. Similarly, BJP candidates Davinder Bhutto and Inder Dutt Lakhanpal are leading in Kutlehar and Barsar by 891 and 2,043 votes respectively.

However, not all BJP hopefuls are ahead; Rajinder Rana, of the BJP, is trailing by 190 votes in Sujanpur, and Chetanya Sharma by 1,675 votes in Gagret, adding an element of unpredictability to the results across the board.
