Mahesh Sharma Extends Unbeatable Lead in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar
Mahesh Sharma of BJP continues his dominant performance with over 5 lakh votes in Gautam Buddh Nagar, surpassing his previous victories in 2014 and 2019. His closest rival, Mahendra Singh Nagar of the Samajwadi Party, lags significantly behind, followed by BSP's Rajendra Singh Solanki.

Mahesh Sharma of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a commanding lead in the Gautam Buddh Nagar Lok Sabha seat, surpassing his recent electoral performances. With over 7.80 lakh votes counted by 3.30 pm, Sharma leads by a margin of more than 5 lakh votes.
His nearest competitor, Mahendra Singh Nagar of the Samajwadi Party, has accumulated around 2.83 lakh votes, while the Bahujan Samaj Party's Rajendra Singh Solanki stands third with 2.40 lakh votes. None of the 12 other candidates, including Independent nominees, have managed to cross the 4,000-vote mark yet.
The NOTA (none of the above) option received 9,467 votes, reflecting a slight increase from previous elections. The 2019 Lok Sabha polls saw 8,371 NOTA votes, and the 2014 elections had 3,836 such votes.
