In a strategic move, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut is set to attend the critical opposition INDIA alliance meeting in New Delhi aimed at deliberating on the Lok Sabha poll results, as confirmed by party sources.

Although Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray had initially planned to be in attendance, it has now been confirmed that only Raut will be taking part in these crucial discussions.

Already stationed in the national capital, Raut will join leaders at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence on Wednesday evening to strategize on forming a new government and consider extending outreach to former allies, Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu.
