Kremlin Warns Western Weapon Suppliers of Dire Consequences

The Kremlin has issued a stern warning to Western countries supplying Ukraine with weapons capable of striking Russia. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov cautioned that such actions would lead to serious consequences. This statement follows President Vladimir Putin's suggestion of countermeasures if Kyiv struck deeper into Russia with Western long-range weapons.

The Kremlin said on Thursday that Western countries which supply Ukraine with weapons to directly strike Russia will definitely face consequences.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was commenting after President Vladimir Putin suggested on Wednesday he could supply weapons within striking distance of interests associated with the United States and its European allies if they allowed Kyiv to strike deeper into Russia with long-range Western weapons.

Peskov declined to name countries or regions where Russia might deploy or supply such weapons.
