Jailed Activist Amritpal Singh Wins Khadoor Sahib Constituency

Jailed activist Amritpal Singh has clinched victory in the Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab, despite being in custody. His parents arrived on Saturday to meet him and celebrate his electoral success.

Singh's father, Tarsem Singh, expressed joy over his son's win, stating that the massive margin of victory reflected the people's love and support. His mother, Balwinder Kaur, was seen distributing sweets to the jail staff.

Accompanied by his wife, Kirandeep Kaur, and former Punjab MP Rajdeo Singh Khalsa, his family brought a new set of clothes and shoes for Singh's upcoming oath-taking as a Member of Parliament.

Khalsa criticized the AAP government, alleging that Singh's arrest was political, citing his community work towards a drug-free Punjab. He further claimed that Singh's electoral success is a testament to his perceived leadership qualities and community support.
