Degran informed The Associated Press as clashes persisted in the area where the Israeli military managed to rescue four hostages on Saturday morning.

The official reported that more than 100 wounded individuals have also been brought to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al Balah. The ongoing conflict has severely strained the medical facilities in the region.

Following the release of the hostages, Israel has reaffirmed its commitment to continue operations until all captives taken during the October 7 attack are freed, escalating the already intense situation in Gaza.
