The Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Sunday called for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into alleged 'institutional corruption' involving the manipulation of stock markets through exit polls and electoral bonds.
NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) working president PC Chacko emphasized that the outcome of the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra validated the party's standing as the authentic NCP. Following an extended working committee meeting, Chacko highlighted the urgency of addressing 'institutional corruption engineered through exit polls and electoral bonds,' which led to significant financial losses for the public.
'People lost their hard-earned money due to stock market manipulation. This level of corruption is unparalleled in society. Moreover, the issue of electoral bonds remains unresolved,' Chacko alleged.
