TDP MP Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, with an asset of Rs 5700 crore, has become the richest minister in the 18th Lok Sabha. Along with Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, he is among the top 10 richest winners. The BJP-led alliance secured 293 out of 543 seats.

With an impressive asset of Rs 5700 crore, TDP MP Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani has emerged as the richest minister in the 18th Lok Sabha. Sworn in as a minister of state, Pemmasani was the wealthiest candidate in the recent elections, declaring assets worth Rs 5705 crore among all 8390 candidates.

Among those with Cabinet rank, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia stands out with assets totaling Rs 484 crore, placing him as the sixth wealthiest among the winning Lok Sabha MPs.

Pemmasani and Scindia are the only two ministers from the top 10 richest winners. While the BJP could not secure a majority on its own, the party-led alliance managed to claim 293 seats out of 543, surpassing the majority mark of 272 in the lower house.
