Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has extended his congratulations to Narendra Modi on assuming the office of prime minister once again. In a statement on Sunday, Sukhu expressed optimism that PM Modi’s tenure would lead to substantial financial support from the Union government for the development of Himachal Pradesh.
In his remarks, Sukhu also congratulated BJP leader Jagat Prakash Nadda, a native of the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, on his induction into the Modi Cabinet. He noted Nadda's familiarity with the state's topography and expressed hope that he would address the developmental needs of the region effectively.
