On Friday, the Congress staged a significant demonstration to protest against alleged irregularities in NEET-UG and the cancellation of UGC-NET exams.

Senior leader Digvijaya Singh, alongside state Congress chief Jitu Patwari, accused the BJP-led regime of pervasive corruption that jeopardizes the future of countless students. They highlighted that the National Testing Agency (NTA) chief, Pradeep Kumar Joshi, had falsified information regarding NEET, where around 24 lakh candidates appeared this year.

The former chief minister emphasized that corruption is rampant under the BJP's rule. Reports of question paper leaks, particularly in Bihar, have marred the NEET-UG results announced on June 4. Furthermore, the UGC-NET was cancelled following inputs from the national anti-cyber-crime agency, indicating serious security breaches.
