The president criticized the West's rules-based approach, likening it to colonialism, and condemned the selective application of international trade laws as monopolistic and coercive.

He noted the complexities in establishing a world order that mirrors the actual balance of power. As of 2024, BRICS has expanded to ten members, each contributing unique cultural, social, and economic perspectives.
