Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has been granted permission by the Rajasthan Assembly to be absent from the current session. This decision was announced by Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani following a voice vote during Zero Hour.

Meena had recently submitted his resignation in the wake of the BJP's poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. However, his resignation has yet to be officially accepted.

The minister has already missed several sessions of the ongoing budget meeting, which commenced on July 3, and did not attend a recent cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
