Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav on Monday kicked off a membership drive for the Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress. This initiative, aiming for its elections, aligns with the democratic ideals promoted by Rahul Gandhi, aiming to provide equal opportunities for all, including those from humble backgrounds.
The Youth Congress serves as an entry point for young individuals into politics. As the national capital, Delhi's political climate influences the entire country. Speaking on the drive, Yadav expressed optimism about widespread youth participation, regardless of socio-economic status, during the drive in August. A new president and committee will be scrutinized and formed in September.
Yadav acknowledged the upcoming challenges with assembly elections scheduled for February next year. He asserted that the Delhi Congress, along with its various cells and departments, will work diligently to expose the perceived authoritarianism of the BJP and the alleged corruption and failures of the Aam Aadmi Party government. Yadav emphasized the public’s growing desire for Congress to reclaim power in Delhi.
