A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working committee meeting, chaired by BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, took place in Himachal Pradesh's Una on Friday. Dr. Bindal criticized the Congress government, calling it anti-people and accusing it of increasing inflation and shutting down public welfare schemes implemented by the previous government. 'This government is marred by lockouts, inflation, and corruption,' he asserted.
Bindal further accused the Sukhu administration of being entrenched in corruption. He alleged that the state government, under Chief Minister's protection, has broken records of corruption, with persistent tender scams and a failing law and order situation. He highlighted alarming crime statistics, including 250 murder cases and 3,000 drug cases, alongside 950 cases of women atrocities within the administration's short tenure.
Describing the Congress government as nepotistic and inefficient, Bindal claimed that it has harmed the country more than the British. He lauded the BJP's continuous electoral successes and informed that a resolution was taken to initiate a public awareness campaign against drug addiction. The meeting saw participation from high-profile BJP members including National Vice President Saudan Singh and MP Anurag Thakur.
