This group represents over one in ten Democrats in Congress. Democrats currently hold 213 seats in the House of Representatives and 51 in the Senate.
The lawmakers urging Biden to step aside include Senators Martin Heinrich, Jon Tester, and Peter Welch, as well as Representatives Earl Blumenauer, Ed Case, Sean Casten, Jim Costa, Angie Craig, Lloyd Doggett, and more.
