Jeevan Sharma, a former senior superintendent of police and brother of a prominent BJP leader, officially joined the National Conference on Wednesday, according to a party spokesman.
Sharma's entry into the National Conference was marked by a ceremony at the party headquarters, attended by former minister and additional general secretary Ajay Kumar Sadhotra.
Sadhotra welcomed Sharma, highlighting that his inclusion would strengthen the party amidst rising public dissatisfaction with the BJP's unfulfilled promises and lack of decisive action.
