CM Saini and Kharge Spar Over Kargil Vijay Diwas: A Day of Political Tensions

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini slammed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for politicizing Kargil Vijay Diwas, accusing the Congress of misleading youth and disrespecting soldiers. In contrast, Congress leaders criticized Prime Minister Modi, asserting his actions undermined the Armed Forces and played petty politics.

In a fiery exchange over Kargil Vijay Diwas, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched severe attacks on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Saini accused the Congress of spreading misinformation on such an important day while alleging that disrespecting soldiers is intrinsic to the party.

“Even on a day like this (Kargil Vijay Diwas), Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge is busy playing politics; this is very unfortunate. Even today, they are busy spreading lies and misleading our youth. Thousands of social media posts celebrated the day, yet Congress remained absent from memorials,” Saini stated.

Congress leaders retaliated, with President Kharge condemning Prime Minister Modi for politicizing tributes to Kargil martyrs. Kharge claimed Modi lied about the implementation of the Agnipath scheme, calling it an insult to the Armed Forces. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi paid heartfelt tributes, honoring the sacrifices of Indian soldiers on the anniversary.
