Piyush Goyal Criticizes Opposition CMs for Skipping NITI Aayog Meet

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal criticized the chief ministers of opposition-led states for skipping the NITI Aayog meeting. He stated they missed a chance to voice their concerns. Opposition leaders argue they are marginalized in the Union Budget. Prominent leaders such as Mamata Banerjee also expressed dissatisfaction with the meeting arrangement.

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal lambasted the Chief Ministers of opposition-ruled states for skipping the NITI Aayog meeting on Saturday, accusing them of doing injustice to their people.

Speaking at a press conference, Goyal pointed out that the absent CMs missed a crucial opportunity to ask pertinent questions and engage in meaningful dialogue.

The opposition CMs, including M K Stalin, Pinarayi Vijayan, and Mamata Banerjee, have expressed their grievances over alleged neglect in the Union Budget presented recently. Goyal emphasized the continuity between the Union Budget and the interim budget, countering claims of bias.
