Two Congress office-bearers were suspended in Indore for alleged indiscipline after warmly welcoming Madhya Pradesh minister and BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya at the party's office.

The minister visited the Congress office on July 12 to invite leaders to a sapling plantation drive under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, during which Congress officials engaged with him over tea and snacks.

A notice from the Congress party accused the leaders of hosting someone who had allegedly undermined democratic values in Indore. The notice, dated July 20, demanded explanations from the suspended leaders within seven days, confirmed Mukesh Nayak, president of MP Congress's media department.
