The legislators slept on bed covers and blankets near the assembly entrance. The House is scheduled to reconvene at 11 am on Thursday. Marshals had removed the opposition BJP and AJSU Party MLAs from the assembly around 3 pm after they refused to leave the Well, where they were staging their sit-in.

Accusations flew as opposition members claimed the lights and air-conditioners were turned off and they were held hostage. Despite attempts by CM Soren to pacify them, the legislators remained firm in their demands for immediate answers. Medical check-ups and food were provided overnight.
