Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole has described the ongoing political accusations in the state as a 'drama,' following allegations made by dismissed police officer Sachin Waze against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena (SCP) leaders Anil Deshmukh and Jayant Patil. Patole emphasized that once the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition forms the government, they will initiate a thorough investigation into the matter.

Responding to Waze's allegations, NCP's Working President and Member of Parliament (MP) Supriya Sule questioned the timing, suggesting that the allegations surfaced conveniently ahead of upcoming elections. Separately, Anil Deshmukh dismissed the claims against him, pointing out Waze's criminal background and alleging a political conspiracy orchestrated by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Deshmukh reiterated that Waze, accused in the 2021 Antilia bomb scare and multiple murder cases, lacks credibility. He claimed that Fadnavis is using Waze for political gains, and asserted that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has already gathered sufficient evidence against him. The controversy continues to unfold with promises of future investigations by a potential Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
