The assembly election manifesto committee of the Jammu and Kashmir unit of BJP convened at the party headquarters on Sunday. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy stressed the necessity of extensive public outreach before finalizing the manifesto.
Reddy, BJP's J&K assembly election in-charge, emphasized inclusion of common citizens in policymaking. The manifesto will reflect the wishes of Union Territory residents. J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina chaired the meeting, attended by committee chair Nirmal Singh and other members, noted a party spokesman.
Reddy highlighted that senior leaders and committee members would conduct widespread outreach to involve all social sections, ensuring comprehensive input for the manifesto.
Raina announced a regional division strategy into seven areas, aiming for deeper societal integration. District-level teams will further the outreach, with completion targeted by August 15, aligning with BJP's 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' mission. Youth, women, economists, farmers, and various community representatives will be contacted as part of the outreach, enriching the roadmap for the party's goals.
