Ajit Pawar Faces Criticism, Stresses Women's Welfare and Development

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday highlighted women's welfare, development, and poverty alleviation as the key issues of his Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Pawar reported receiving encouraging responses from the public during the 'Jan Sanman Yatra', a three-day rally.

Addressing queries on BJP's critical remarks about NCP founder Sharad Pawar, he maintained focus on welfare schemes announced in the latest state budget. "Women's welfare, development, and poverty alleviation are the major planks of the NCP," Pawar reiterated, dismissing BJP's comments as distractions.

Pawar also addressed a gathering of MIDC workers, committing to resolving their issues through schemes like PM Shramyogi Mandhan Yojana and PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. He praised the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, which provides financial aid to women, and criticized opposition parties for challenging it.
