Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar took a veiled dig at the BJP during a speech on Thursday, accusing them of aligning with the British during India's freedom struggle.
Speaking at the 78th Independence Day celebration at the state Congress office, Shivakumar stressed the need to protect the country from 'wolves in sheep’s clothing' and educate the younger generation about Congress’s sacrifices for independence.
