Mike Tyson, the legendary former heavyweight champion, announced that he is fit and ready for his upcoming fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on Nov. 15. The event, originally set for July 20, was rescheduled after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up.
During a joint news conference in New York City, Tyson emphasized his unparalleled legacy, declaring, "Because I can. Who else can do it but me?" The 58-year-old with a 50-6 record hasn't fought professionally since 2005 but remains confident.
Paul, 27, with a 10-1 record, was greeted with boos but remained unfazed, stating, "I am here to make 40 million dollars and knock out a legend." The highly-anticipated fight will be streamed globally on Netflix and hosted at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
