Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on Monday, declared his resolve amid Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's order to investigate alleged irregularities in site allotments by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Expressing his unshaken confidence, Siddaramaiah revealed his legal strategy, involving Supreme Court lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

'My conscience is very clear,' Siddaramaiah stated after filing a writ petition in the High Court challenging the order. He assured the press of his trust in the judicial system to grant him relief, highlighting his long, blemish-free political career that began in 1984.

Siddaramaiah denounced the order as 'politically motivated' and accused BJP and JD(S) parties of conspiring to tarnish his reputation. He vowed to tackle the challenge both legally and politically, emphasizing his enhanced vigor during political battles. He refuted claims by opposition parties that his political fall would mean the end for the Congress in Karnataka.
