Vaishnaw emphasized that the lateral entry positions, which are temporary and span a three-year term, are intended to fulfill specialized needs within the government. He labeled the opposition’s criticism as 'false and baseless.'
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced 45 openings for various positions, including Joint Secretary, Director, and Deputy Secretary. Applications, open until September 17, aim to draw talented professionals into the government to enhance operational efficiency.
