Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve has strongly refuted Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's claim that the recent massive protest in Badlapur was politically instigated. Danve described the public outrage over the sexual abuse of two minor girls as a genuine reflection of the community's anger.
Danve, along with Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut, has accused the school involved of having links to a BJP leader. They demanded immediate action against the school management during a meeting with state DGP Rashmi Shukla.
Raut and Danve criticized the government's failure to respond promptly to crimes against women and condemned the police's use of force on protesters. They also slammed the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana as inadequate in addressing women's safety.
