Thailand's influential billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra, on Thursday, firmly denied any claims of political compromise with his conservative adversaries to secure his return from 15 years of exile in 2023.
During an on-stage interview at a business event, Thaksin stated, "There is no deal, no one dare do a deal with me."
Thaksin, who is also the father of current Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and the figurehead of the Pheu Thai Party, made it clear that his comeback was not facilitated by any secret agreements.
