Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Texas have emerged as significant beneficiaries of U.S. funding and investments directed towards arming Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. A recent Pentagon report showcases the considerable spending in these states.

The Biden administration initially shared state-level data around ten months ago to encourage Republican backing. Emphasizing job creation through new contracts awarded to U.S. companies has been a key strategy.

Major defense companies, including Raytheon in Arizona and General Dynamics, which operates in multiple states, have secured billions in contracts, with Pennsylvania receiving the highest allocation of $2.52 billion.
