BJP Announces Second Slate of Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls
The BJP released its second list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. Ex-ministers Krishan Kumar Bedi and Manish Grover lead the pack, among others. The list covers 21 assembly seats and follows the initial list of 67 candidates. Haryana goes to polls on October 5, with results on October 8.

In a strategic move ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its second list of candidates on Tuesday. Former ministers, including Krishan Kumar Bedi and Manish Grover, have been nominated to contest from the Narwana and Rohtak seats, respectively.
The list, which was personally announced by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, includes candidates for 21 assembly seats across the state. Among the notable names, Pawan Saini, a close associate of Haryana’s Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has been fielded from the Naraingarh seat, while Satpal Jamba has been selected for the Pundri seat.
Additional candidates include Yogender Rana from Assandh, Devender Kaushik from Ganaur, Krishna Gahlawat from Rai, Pradeep Sangwan from Baroda, and Capt Yogesh Bairagi from Julana. The party also nominated Baldev Singh Mangiana for the Dabwali seat and has included various candidates for additional seats, ensuring representation across the region. Haryana is set to hold its polls on October 5, with results expected on October 8.
