Senior politicians across party lines, including Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, expressed their condolences over the demise of CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Thursday.
Revanth Reddy described Yechury's death as an 'irreparable loss to Indian politics,' emphasizing the veteran leader's four-decade-long involvement in national affairs. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Yechury's family and comrades.
Owaisi, in a post on social media platform X, highlighted Yechury's unwavering commitment to secularism, social justice, and democracy. Yechury passed away at AIIMS in New Delhi at the age of 72 after a prolonged illness.
