Controversy erupted when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi proclaimed that they have broken Prime Minister Modi's psychology, implying a loss of confidence. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, however, countered the claim, asserting that Gandhi's statements were unfounded and that Modi remains a robust leader. 'His statement is wrong; Modiji is Modiji, and he will be Modiji. There is no truth to such a statement. Psychologically, Rahul Gandhi could be finished, but Narendra Modiji is a strong leader,' Athawale stated.

While addressing a rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, Gandhi had earlier stated, 'It is clear that the Narendra Modi who was once confident is no longer the same. Whatever the opposition wants them to do, we get it done. They bring a law, but when we stand strong against it, the law is not passed, and they bring a new law. The confidence they had earlier is now finished. We have broken Narendra Modi's psychology.'

In another address in Srinagar, Gandhi further took a jibe at the Prime Minister, 'He used to speak with pride and confidence, but now the INDIA bloc and Congress have changed Narendra Modi's psychology. He is no longer the same as before. For the past 10 years, wherever Narendra Modi goes, he spreads hatred. Wherever the BJP had opened 'Nafrat ka bazar', we went there and opened 'Mohabbat ki dukaan'. We will continue to do this,' Gandhi said.

These comments come as Jammu and Kashmir undertakes its 90-member assembly election in three phases. The first phase registered a significant voter turnout of 61.13% on September 18 across 24 constituencies in seven districts. The subsequent phases are set for September 25 and October 1, with vote counting scheduled for October 8. (ANI)
