Anupam, a prominent youth activist from Bihar, joined the Congress party on Tuesday at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi. His induction was witnessed by key leaders, including K C Venugopal, Bihar Congress chief Akhilesh Prasad Singh, and media head Pawan Khera.
Recognized for his relentless fight against youth unemployment and the controversial Agnipath scheme, Anupam's efforts have included organizing mass demonstrations and even facing incarceration. Pawan Khera lauded his dedication and expertise, expressing confidence that Anupam would enhance the party's youth outreach.
Anupam's involvement in protests against NEET paper leaks and unemployment has positioned him as a significant figure in Bihar's civil activism. In his address, he painted the political landscape as a struggle between those looking to sell the nation and those aiming to safeguard it.
