Congress leader Supriya Shrinate on Tuesday accused the BJP government in Haryana of deceiving young people, wrestlers, and farmers during its decade-long rule. She confidently predicted a historical setback for BJP in the upcoming state elections, suggesting the party might win just 5 or 7 seats.
Expressing unwavering faith in Congress's prospects, Shrinate said, 'History will be created in Haryana this time. The youth, jawans, wrestlers, and farmers were betrayed over the past 10 years by the BJP regime.' She also reiterated that the people of Haryana trust Congress's guarantees and Rahul Gandhi's leadership.
Shrinate's remarks come amid a boost in confidence for Congress following Rahul Gandhi's recent political rallies. Meanwhile, INLD leader Abhay Chautala voiced optimism about his party winning 30-35 seats and forming the government with the BSP. Elections for Haryana's 90-member legislative assembly are slated for October 5, with results to be announced on October 8.
