President Alexander Van der Bellen, a former leader of Austria's Greens, will accept the government's resignation and ask it to stay on temporarily. Chancellor Karl Nehammer's Austrian People's Party (OVP) has left the door open for a coalition but ruled out partnering with FPO leader Herbert Kickl, adding to the uncertainty of coalition talks.
